Started off as an architectural firm in Hiroshima, Japan since 1970, it started property development in 1990 and completed more than 330 condominium projects in both Japan and overseas. Having made its marks in Japan, China, and Malaysia; Marimo is set to build its legacy not just in the field of property development & management but as well as hospitality.
VISION FROM JAPAN TO MALAYSIA & THE WORLD
Marimo has always been well-known in property management in Japan. From here with its vast experiences acquired in Japan, it seeks to expand to Malaysia through Ohako Asset Management Sdn Bhd in 2019. Complemented with Malaysian expertise that has managed some well-known projects. While at the same time, working together with an upcoming tech start-up called MyTaman to bring an efficient way of property management as well as conveniences to residents.

JOHN TARO
Founder & Managing Director
Originally from Hiroshima, Japan John Taro ventured into Malaysia in the area of property development namely O’hako @ Puchong Jaya in 2015. With his background in architecture and master planning, he brought his expertise with the unique Japanese flavor in his Malaysian development which won The Stars Property Award in 2018. From here, he looks forward to offer the best of Japan in the field of property management in his host country of more than 12 years.
HADI
Operations Manager
Four years of experience mainly in town planning consultancy and business development field. He was previously working as a town planner consultant at a private firm. Handling various clients and projects for planning and building the submission of masterplans, housing, commercial, industrial development and also LRT3 by Prasarana and MRCB. Currently, he involves in doing sales and marketing in order to acquire more deals in hospitality and property management, managing business development related land search and survey and also assisting property management for Ohako.
GARY CHA
Marketing Manager
Gary is our company's marketing manager who oversees the marketing team and assists Mr. John Taro and Mr. Hadi in after-sales service and operation. He also does research on the various requirements of clients in the industry and tailor-makes solutions for them. Gary has been the sales director and coordinator for various industries including telecommunications, property development, and the tour and travel industry. He has good human skills and is a very good team player who is able to leverage on all the team members' strengths.
